AC flaw detectors have shallow detection depth, while DC flaw detectors have slow detection speed and require demagnetization. Selecting the current frequency based on the depth of defects can comprehensively detect defects and improve the sensitivity of flaw detection. Variable frequency AC combines the advantages of AC, DC, rectifier, and impulse current. It breaks through the limitation of magnetic particle inspection, which can only detect surface defects of metals, and makes up for the difficulty of ultrasonic inspection of thin steel plates. The inspection depth is deep, the sensitivity is high, and it can work continuously for 8 hours without an external power supply. It also has functions such as photography, video recording, and white and ultraviolet lighting.
